Questions About Our Farm & Lamb? We’re Happy to Share.

Whether you’re new to buying lamb or just curious about how we raise our animals, we’ve gathered some common questions below. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Reach out—we love talking farm life.

What types of lamb do you sell?

We sell live Katahdin lambs for either processing or breeding.

Is your lamb grass-fed or grain-finished?

Our lambs are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished. They’re moved to fresh pasture daily—just the way nature intended.

How is your lamb processed, and where does it happen?

All lambs are sold live. You can either pick them up yourself or we can deliver them to our local custom processor.

How do I place an order?

You can contact us directly through the website or give us a call.

Do you offer bulk orders or subscriptions?

We don’t offer subscriptions right now, but we do provide a discount if you order six or more whole live lambs at once.

Can I visit the farm before buying?

Absolutely. Just contact us to set up a time—we’d love to show you around.

What breed of sheep do you raise and why?

We raise Katahdins, a hardy hair sheep breed that doesn’t need shearing. They’re known for producing lean, delicious, and nutritious meat.

Do you offer delivery or do I need to pick up my lamb?

You’re welcome to pick up your live lamb from the farm or from our custom local processor once processed.

Are your animals raised humanely and organically?

Yes. Our animals are raised as naturally and humanely as possible—on pasture, with no chemicals, and lots of fresh air and movement.

What advice do you have for first-time buyers?

If you’re buying for meat, we recommend starting with simple cuts—and we’re happy to suggest what works best.
If you’re planning to raise them yourself, we suggest finding a local mentor, and of course, we’re happy to share what we’ve learned on our journey.
